No Circles

Trying to establish a solid method for drawing a face.  Usually I start with the classic “draw an oval”.  The thing is, usually the proportions for the oval I draw has little to do with a real human face and I spend the rest of the time fighting against that proportion.  So this time I just did a center line, then the horizontal line for the eyes, nose and mouth.  Then block in the eyes.  The eyes start the proportion for the width of the head and everything else.  This seems to be working for me, at least for tonight.  Will keep trying.
